Shuvolong waterfalls is the most wonderful tourist attraction, located in Rangamati District of Bangladesh. It's one of the exotic tourist attractions of Rangamati.Shuvolong waterfalls have two different points nearby. People recommend visiting both of them. However, the water pressure is very high and you may not resist, so the locals warn people from going inside the waterfalls directly. If you climb to the top of it, you shouldn’t go inside the flowing water canal. The power of the waterfall is very strong and you may be floated and fall down from the top and die (or severely injured).
Please observe this place from a few meters far from the water falling area. You can take a bath inside the waterfall but please judge the pace of water and surface depth.
The only available path to reach the waterfall is through the lake. People visit there by boat. It is a famous place with the tourists for the waterfall, hills and the natural surroundings it offers. This waterfall is just before the Shuvolong Bazar. So that Shuvolong is easily accessible by speed boat or motor boats from Rangamati.
If you are traveling with family/group,rent a boat(fare is 1200-1500 in Bangladesh currency) & start moving along the beautiful Kaptai lake towards the Shuvolong water fall.The total trip may take 5-6 hours.There is no food and accommodation facility in Shuvolong Waterfall area. So if you want to stay there for a long time, you should take your food and drinking water from Rangamati.
However, on the way to the waterfall,visit one of the "island restaurants''( Chang pang,Gorba/Jum ghor,Peda ting ting etc.) & place your lunch order,so that you can get one on the return journey.You will surely like the boat journey,it's fantastic. Enjoy nature.
