Founded on 18th April, 2015 by Tori Chakma Dangko, the fashion house "mizel-hozal" has established itself as an emblem of traditional attire of the indigenous people. The name "mizel-hozal" is a word from Chakma language which stands for "blending".It fuses and blends different styles, techniques and raw materials available that deliver a something special with the combination.
The prime moto here is " Blend for the Best ". Keeping this moto in mind they are committed not only in the fashion but also in the quality.
This fashion house collaborated with Supporting People and Rebuilding Communities (SPaRC) which is a women and youth lead non-profit organization
working relentlessly to make a better world for people of all diversity. VAW( Violence Against Women) survivors in CHT are taking active part in crafting products of this fashion house.
Every products of "mizel-hozal" are sewn
using hands with dedication,care and love which adds to the uniqueness to the products. Mainly women's cloths can be found in this fashion house. Starting from the traditional attire of indigenous people to ornaments everything is available here.
The voyage of "mizal-hozal" started first in Rangamati with one showroom, now it has extended upto Chattogram. "mizel-hozal" is making a positive change empowering women in CHT.
