Chakma Filmmaker, Adit Dewan received great recognition through the Prince Clause Fund's Seed Awards this year for his artistic films as well as his involvement in Hill Film Festival. Till date, only four Bangladeshis have achieved such a feat.
Holding a MA in Film Studies from India's Jadavpur University, Dewan's filmmaking journey centres around indigenous themes and telling stories of CHT communities.
In 2014, he co-founded Hill Film Festival which aims to showcase and promote films made in indigenous languages both in Chittagong and other regions of Bangladesh.
Already a director of four short films and one feature film, we wish Adit Dewan a very prosperous career!
